Remember only one thing...

“… that she was fighting what she became and want to finish the job… she just can’t remember why. But, it doesn’t matter… it’s like it now.”

That's a character that came to my mind while reading the very good book Warm Bodies of Isaac Marion. She doesn’t wear a name cause she can’t remember hers… she’s a zombie after all… sort of…
She does not belong to the story... just from my head in this universe of post apocalyptic-zombie-world… but zombies are not like the zombie we usually know. There kinda dead, but not all.
Mr Marion created different level of zombie-being. I just add a new one: when someone infected, if the desire of living is enough strong, like huge sense of honor, or maybe still someone alive really important to protect, this person can remember the most important part of what he/she must do. In this one, she was a fighter and didn’t like to depend on ammo to “kill” the dead. So she fights the old ways, and got some acrobatic skills to do it very efficiently.
So, she’s not totally dead… and instead of being dead and come back to life (like R of the book) she just never die totally. That why one of her eyes, the half of her head and some part of the body got living color.
She has blood on the face!!! Ohh you’ll ask, does she eat human brain too? Sometimes but she eat those that were killed by the others that she just killed. She doesn’t kill the living ‘cause she know that she have to protect them… But that’s kinda hard… ‘cause she looks dead… and, most of the times, the living she tries to protect just try to kill her. Then, she just flees. Well I would like that character to have chance just like R and the others…

The draw:
WELLL that’s a first try for that character… proportion are almost right ^^’’ but I’m planning on doing it differently. It’s made of ink and color pencils.
Well… I like very much Warm Bodies… and that’s not a love story (like the movie that just came out) that more about human relationship. Try it that really fresh ^^
